Dear, I am sorry the application process was not what you were hoping for. Please allow me to give you some context. On a yearly basis we get about 300-400 requests for internships across our locations. We try to accelerate the process for every candidate but unfortunately, it might take a few weeks to go through the different steps and for us to qualify potential candidates. Typically our internships are indeed unpaid, which is the standard for college internships in Belgium. A typical intern gets to experience all aspects of Venture Building so most people consider it very valuable training. Looking at our current FTE team of about 60 people, at least half of them initially started as inters so I am proud to say that the proportion of internships that result in FTE offers is pretty high. feel free to reach out again to the recruiter if you care to give some more context about your negative experience.
