Spoke with Recruiter, did the take home challenge and then a review on-site. I found the on-site review to be very stressful. Maybe it was the room or the people in it, but it was uncomfortable. You're expected to have a CS background because it is less on algorithm and more on which data structure you would use. If you don't have a strong CS background, don't bother.

Phone call with recruiter, Take home assignment, Onsite with engineers. I felt like the take home assignment was reasonable. I liked how the onsite was then based on this assignment. For me, it didn't work out that well because none of it was in a language that I was accustomed to. I feel like I could have been made aware of this better beforehand.

The rounds weren’t hard but like some reviews have mentioned, it felt like they were screening for certain personalities and probing for specific answers rather than problem-solving skills, which shows when you meet the team. I was excited about this company and I liked them until the final on-site. I tried to ask in-depth questions about the engineering team/culture but felt like I didn’t get any thoughtful answers. They all gave the same rehearsed answers which felt very disingenuine. Maybe they were just not strong interviewers, but ultimately it didn’t seem like a place where I’d be able to grow as an engineer. Very disappointing since it was a lengthy process and their final on-site takes an entire day (9-5).
