There was one lady interviewing 3 people including myself. She went around the room and asked each one of us Questions. Everyone did an Awesome job in the interview. And the interviewer wanted us to start right away. So she give us all the paperwork to get drug tested, Fingerprinting, Physical and Tb test done on that Friday. So of Course I go get everything done. Now its the waiting game........ SO I GET A CALL 7 DAYS LATER SAYING " WE CAN'T HIRE YOU BECAUSE YOU HAVE A SPEEDING TICKETING" Are you serious??? Everything else came back clear. ' The lady told me that it's Brookdale's Policy. Boy was I upset because I couldn't understand that. This company has over 35,000 employees and your trying to tell me NO ONE HAS A SPEEDING TICKET, I can't get the job because of a Speeding ticket. It wasn't a reckless speeding ticket or misdemeanor. I don't have DUI'S ETC... I didn't apply to drive the company vehicle. So now I will we calling Corp office.

J'ai postulé via une autre source. Le processus a pris 6 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Brookdale Senior Living (Ridgeland, MS)

A female employee briefly asked me a few questions on the phone. During this time, I was told that CNA certification was NOT required to work there, so she proceeded to schedule me for a brief in-person application process, fingerprinting (which I had I wasted $10 of my own money on), and a drug (urine) test. I waited 6 weeks on the results, made multiple phone calls, I even visted the facility to follow-up. But no one would get back to me or was available when I went in to see why I had not been contacted with my results. I basically got the run around when they had zero intention of hiring me. My assumption is that they only hire people who are already certified. Also, I’ve noticed that they allow residents to sit outside alone unattended. That’s unsafe, and they also allowed residents to sit at the front of the building when there was no staff present. That’s another safety error. I would not recommend to apply for employment here and do not allow your loved ones to stay here.
