It took about a month from sending in the application to being hired. They had me come in for 1:1 face-to-face interview with the CDC's director, then an interactive interview in a toddler classroom and a pre-K classroom before another 1:1 interview. I got the call two days later than I had been hired. Everyone was very welcoming, patient and friendly. The interview was not stressful and we had a really easy back and forth that made me feel more comfortable.

It was over zoom, and the director (in MD) was very friendly and tries to make you feel comfortable. It was informal so it was more of a conversation than an interview
