Excruciating. This was the initial role I was asked to interview for - over the duration of months I interviewed for four separate positions within the firm. These interviews took place over the phone and on campus, the process was a full-time job in and of itself. I spent 8 hour days on campus meeting with various employees only to be shifted from one department to another. Ultimately, I never received an offer. The process was exhausting and intentionally so. The look in the eyes of the current employees in the cafeteria told me all I needed to know. Short of being asked to walk across hot coals, I eventually bowed out of further opportunities within the prestigious firm - I turned down the kool-aid.
