It was fine until they had you "act out" being a receptionist at the reception desk and then criticize you for giving the wrong directions. I thought this was acting. I pretty sure if i was working there i would know that the place you wanted to go was down the hall. The interview itself wasn't hard, but was overall not a great experience. Clearly they have an agenda for how interviews should go and if you misstep they provide no feedback- odd from a company that prides itself on transparenc .

Interview Review – Receptionist Role
The interview process was extremely disappointing. The session lasted over three hours, which is unnecessarily long for a receptionist role. Much of the time was spent on irrelevant questions that did not seem related to the position.
Additionally, I was required to role play as a receptionist, which felt excessive and not particularly useful in evaluating my skills. Toward the end, I was even told I had given the wrong directions, which seemed more like a trick question than a fair assessment of my ability to perform the role.
Overall, the experience was frustrating, unprofessional, and poorly structured.

The interview process is long. You speak with a recruiter and then a phone interview with the head of the department and then you go in for a long, manipulative interview where you wonder if they have confused you with another candidate. I was very surprised by how unprofessional the interviewer was. I researched Bridgewater, watched a ton of videos on their "culture" and memorized the job description. I was well prepared, but apparently that is frowned upon here and I was accused of being too confident. This place is bizarre and confusing.. and apparently crying isn't uncommon. I am only saying that Glassdoor was not helpful in the interview process, because nothing was. Not even how I was prepared from the recruiter. I'm amazed this place even has employees.

Question 1
They tear you apart and twist what you're saying. They want you to ask a ton of questions, but barely give you the opportunity.
