      It took quite a while to hear back once applying, however they offered for me to come in for an interview pretty quick. I thought that both the phone and the in-person interview (with HR and Creative Director) went really well. I enjoyed the building, the people seemed nice, and I was actually really excited about the position after leaving because it seemed right up my alley. My negative experience begins after the interview. I was told they'd let me know within 2 weeks. In that time, I followed up with a custom designed thank you card and 3 letters of recommendation. I spent a few days really getting to know the software that they were using to better my chances, and then also followed up with an updated portfolio, and an explanation of what I had been working on and how it pertained to the position. I still haven't heard back and this is almost 2.5-3 months later, even though I've followed up via email and phone call. I understand if I don't meet the criteria for the position, but at least have the decency to respond and let me know that...Say thank you for the time I spent trying to work for your company. I know that the position is still open since I'm seeing the same ad displayed, except this time it seems like you're using a recruiter. It feels like you're keeping me on a hook or are purposely avoiding me so that you don't completely cut me off, but at the same time don't hire me because I'm not exactly what you're looking for. It makes you as a company look disorganized, unsure of your vision, and unwilling to invest in employees. Because of this, I would never apply to work with your company again.
