I got an internal referral for the role and was surprisingly contacted by a contract recruiter. I guess they’re short on recruiting staff. After meeting the recruiter, I interviewed with the hiring manager who immediately moved me forward to the panel round. I met with a PMM, a PM and an integrated marketer. Standard behavioral questions. Nice people. The recruiter told me I got 3 thumbs up and would me moved forward to the final presentation. They asked me to present on a previous project which is far better than working on a hypothetical project that can be used for idea farming. I thought the presentation went well and emailed the coordinator after at the advice of the recruiter to ask for the panelists’ email addresses to send a thank you note. I received no response. 6 weeks after the final presentation I had still not heard back so I sent another email and got a reply saying that they had decided not to move forward.
