J'ai postulé en ligne. J'ai passé un entretien chez Bowery Valuation (Seattle, WA) en mai 2026
Entretien
I found about this role through my university's career advancement department. After I applied, I was lucky enough to have my career advisor reach out to the HR & recruiting representative on my behalf, to reccommend me and to expidite my application. After this, I was asked to provide the most recent copy of my transcript, and to set up a meeting to do an asynchronous valuation case. During this phase, I had an hour to complete some questions in an Excel file related to a hypothetical mixed use property, using cap rates, a rent roll, and other provided information. After I passed that, I had a call with the lovely HR representative and talked about the position with a few behavioral questions thrown in. Finally, I had a 90 minute interview split up into 30 minute intervals with different employees of the company, most of which were from the office I applied to. That round was on a Friday, and I heard back the following Monday.

Starts off by sending you a case study on a specific property and rent roll information, you have to calculate the value of the property. After you send that in, they reach back for two follow up interviews with analysts and director. Fairly techinical/fit questions to see if you are a good applicant.

Led me on for over 13 weeks, kept telling me I was moving to the next step then disappeared for weeks, in the end I didn't get the job even though I felt I expressed myself well to the interviewers and my words were well received. I was well qualified for the role with a relevant background and felt I had asked the "right" questions during the process, I was respectful to all the interviewers. Almost all of it was behavioral questions, obviously if you have a relevant background they could ask you a bit more technical stuff. The excel assessment was very straightforward. You can read more about this company on the appraisal reddit, it doesn't have the best reputation to begin with, and I could see their non-professionalism shine through during the interview process based on how disorganized it was. After I had completed all the interview steps they sent me a generic rejection email, what a joke!
