1 call with in-house recruiter, 1 call with hiring manager. A full day of interviews was set up. I thought all went pretty well (except for lunch with recruiter who was snippy, and when I asked her about other open positions withing the company she told me to apply on the web...again. She wasn't going to do ANYTHING fo rme...). My 6th and 7th interviewers were nowhere to be found. I sat in a conference room for an hour while 3 people were looking for them. It seems they both had a *meeting*....finally an admin came in and told me without telling me that the interview was cancelled. The recruiter had gone home, the hiring manager wasn't around, so I had no idea what was going on. Very very uncomfortable. When I got home, I emailed the hiring manager and snippy recruiter, no response. I did get the no-thanks email a few days later.... A month later, I got another call from another recruiter at Bose (he was pleasant). We spoke on the phone about salsry , etc. I went in for a lunch interview....the position was something I would have thought easy about 20 years ago......I don't know what they were thinking. At least the hiring manager and recruiter were pleasant this time. Bottom line: I wasn't treated well at Bose, I wouldn't work there ever.
