Was interviewed by an individual that contacted me from the corporate office. Was asked “Tell me about yourself” and “What are your salary expectations?” When I mentioned the exact salary on the job listing, ($55k to $60k) their eyes got really big and they shut down the interview and started telling me about the company and didn’t learn anything else about my experience at all. They had no interest in learning about my experience and skills. That told me that they don’t want to pay what’s listed on their own job posting. When I asked how they liked working for the company and how they started their career there the response was “Full disclosure, my Mom is the CEO” which tells me the reviews about nepotism on this company are absolutely true. You won’t get ahead here in this company unless you’re family. I followed up via Email to show my interest still and received a reply that the regional manager would be contacting me to set something up in a day or 2. It’s been over a week and I haven’t heard anything. My assumption is they found another family member to hire. The entire interview was a joke

I first had a Phone interview with HR. Then Interviewed with Regional manager. Background, references and drug test. Offer and start . No surprises. Honest description of company and position.
