How does a database index work, and why is it important? What is the difference between a process and a thread? Explain the concept of recursion and provide an example. How do you handle exceptions or errors in your code? Describe the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and the different stages involved. What is the difference between unit testing and integration testing? Problem-Solving and Algorithms: Solve a coding problem, such as implementing a specific algorithm or solving a problem using data structures like arrays, linked lists, or trees. How would you optimize a slow-performing algorithm or piece of code? Describe different sorting algorithms and their time complexities. Explain the concept of Big O notation and its significance in analyzing algorithm efficiency. How would you design a system for a specific use case or scenario?
First is a phone interview that lasts for 30 minutes, assessing English and communication skills.
Then a Technical Exam, live coding with a developer.

Entretien
BORN first reached out through a recruiter on LinkedIn. They did not offer a job posting, and the job I ended up interviewing for was not what they described in the LinkedIn message.
I had given the first recruiter on LinkedIn my resume, but it was not given to the senior recruiter who conducted my phone screening.
When I was finally told that I was being interviewed for a different position than was initially discussed, I asked for an official job posting and still was not given one. The recruiter then failed to sufficiently answer any questions I asked about the technical requirements of the team or the culture of the company as a whole.
After not giving any information about the requirements of the position, they then asked me what my expected salary would be. When I asked what the offered range was, I was told that the recruiter did not have that information.
Overall, the experience was unpleasant and the general impression given was rushed, sloppy, and unprofessional.
