1. Application and Initial Zoom Interview: I applied for the position through Indeed.com. After submitting my application, I received a prompt response from BPMS, scheduling a Zoom interview for the following day, which happened to be a Monday. During this initial virtual interview, I had the opportunity to discuss my qualifications and career goals. 2. In-Person Interview: Following the Zoom interview, BPMS invited me for an in-person interview on the subsequent Thursday. During this visit to their office, I met with several team members, although only one of the 3 additional parties actively participated in the interview process by asking questions. There appeared to be concerns regarding my skillset, but no unopen-ended questions were asked, technical assessment, extensive review of my background, or reference check was conducted during this stage or thereafter. 3. Job Offer: Surprisingly, I received a job offer from BPMS the day after the in-person interview, which was on a Friday. This offer was presented swiftly without a comprehensive technical assessment or thorough reference check. 4. Declining the Office: While considering the offer, it became clear that the was not alignment in compensation, which did not align with our in-person discussion of being close. The initial offer was -33% of the ask. The final offer was -25% off. Consequently, I decided to decline the offer.
