J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. Le processus a pris 4 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Blue Origin (Kent, WA) en août 2015

      Entretien

I found a mutual connection via Linkedin.com and connected with him there. After speaking with him for a while he offered to submit my resume/qualifications to the recruiter (Who's fantastic, by the way) This was in mid July 2015. The recruiter called me and told me they had eyes on my resume and wanted to bring me in for a meet and greet. -Which I did a week and a half later. The meet and greet consisted of meeting with the recruiter for 30 minutes (Who then gave me a tour of their facility.) WHOA!!! -very cool stuff. Then I met with two other individuals each for 30 minutes. Total process lasted 1.5 - 2 hours. 3 days later, the recruiter called me and said they wanted to bring me back for a full interview, which we scheduled for one week out. PAY ATTENTION!!! there were VERY specific things they asked me to do prior to my interview. They were; Write a 1 page essay describing "How I planned to contribute to lowering the cost, and improving the safety of human spaceflight." which was due the day prior to my interview. additionally, they had me prepare a 30 minute presentation of myself. (qualifications, education, experience, prior employers, key accomplishments, and why I wanted to work at Blue Origin. The presentation was the first thing on the list for interview day. It was set in one of their conference rooms, around a large table. (I made a PowerPoint presentation though their instructions say you don't have to.) There were 6 engineers present. 1 of which was the hiring manager. (Pay close attention to your time. They are VERY good at making a 10 minute presentation last 30 minutes with general questions about your resume. Then we broke off and I met with each of them individually. The questions will vary depending on the position you're applying for, and each engineer will have a different set of questions. Definitely more focused on your technical abilities however, my first 1 on 1 was vastly more behavioral (He brought me down to the floor and had me look up at the vehicle. He asked me what I felt inside when I looked at it... (If space/rocketry is not a passion, don't apply... This is NOT just a job for these guys..) Each 1 on 1 lasted roughly 30 minutes. A soldering test may be performed (I screwed it up the first time, but noticed we had some extra time so I asked If I could do it again to show that I was capable, and they let me. -extremely generous. If your interview goes into the lunch hour, they will take you out to lunch. The day finished with a debrief with the recruiting coordinator Brandi, (She's absolutely awesome.) And a debrief with the recruiter. -Who takes pride in his work and promises he won't leave you hanging... He asked me to give him a week. (that was 3 days ago at this point, for me)

      Questions d'entretien [1]

      Question 1

You have a straight Hydraulic Line and two pressure transducers attached perpendicular to that line, one is reading 20 volts, and the other is reading 80 volts. Describe the process you'd take to determine why there was a difference, and how do you know which one was reading correctly (if any.)
