I was contacted about an opportunity and agreed to a phone call with the recruiter. A second call included the hiring manager and an engineer in the group. This call was technical in nature (CAN protocol, signal processing, sensors, etc). Next I was offered an onsite interview. This was a 1 hour presentation for a panel of 5 engineers that included my background, skills, and relevant technical projects. Then there were 4 back to back 30 min 1:1 interviews. Overall, the process took 7 hours including an hour lunch. I flew back home and received an offer within 1.5 weeks.
