Typically starts with a phone screen by Recruiting or possibly the hiring manager, followed by a more detailed phone interview by the hiring manager. If those are passed, then there is an on site interview by a hiring team. In preparation for this, the candidate answers a couple questions about their interest in space and in the job. The interview starts with an hour long presentation to the interview team where the candidate walks through their experience and really anything they think may be relevant. It's important to show rudimentary communication skills and be able to get through a presentation while fielding questions. The atmosphere during the presentation tends to be open and cordial and non-confrontational; but candidates who don't prepare really stand out in a negative way. After the presentation there are typically 1 on 1 interview sessions scheduled with each interviewer, typically around four or five or so.
