However, since you have chosen to post this on a public platform we are also putting forth some facts to avoid any miscommunication. As a practice we reach out to candidates whom we think could best fit the position/role that we are looking for. After the initial discussions, if the candidates decide to not move forward, we don’t tend to follow up or pursue this further as we respect their decision. However in this particular case, as we received the call from the resource to check if the position is still open, we would certainly follow our process and evaluate them based on a few selection criteria. In case we feel that the candidate does not have the necessary experience and expertise that we are looking for then we don’t move forward. In case we feel that the resource and be a good fit, we share the remuneration that we have budgeted. It’s solely to the discretion of the candidate to either accept it or reject it. So, it’s not a question of 2K Dihrams less or more. It’s our budget v/s our expectations. I feel it’s too harsh to say that it’s a waste of time and effort since people from both sides have connected and tried their best to make it possible. We respect the efforts that you have put and we expect the same from your side.
