First interview was with the recruiter, it went really well. The recruiter told me at the end of the call that I will be getting into the second and final round. The second round was exhausting. It lasted for 2.5 hours. I felt I did pretty well with every member of the interviewees, except with the hiring manager. She just didn't seem interested in my CV and my experience. The interview logic is strange. Ultimately, the hiring manager has the say, yet, as an candidate, I was only given 15 mt. to talk with the hiring manager. In a traditional interview, in which you meet the hiring manager, if he or she is not interested, the interview be will cut short. Block's interview, on the other hand, doesn't allow that. After talking to the HM, I knew she was not interested in my experience. Even tho I knew I did quite well for the rest of the interviews, I knew I had little chance. Felt like I was wasting my time after that 15 mt. chat with the HM. Advice to Block, has a separate HM-led interview built in before asking 2.5 hours from your candidate, this saves everyone's time.
