The hiring manager was young and unprofessional to begin with . The expectations are for you to know more about the company which I did via watching interviews of the CEO on YouTube . Repetitive interview questions and and unprepared interviewer tells you a whole lot about the company’s culture.

Who are blends competitors? What sales tools do you use ? What do you know about the company and what social media did you use to look up our company other than LinkedIn and YouTube ? Why should I hire you over the others ?

One on one interviews with the hiring manager were more like interrogations than a conversation. I really liked the technology and everyone else I met at Blend, but the hiring manager often only spoke about himself. At the beginning of our second hour long 1 on 1 interview he even went so far as to say "I am the final decision maker for your candidacy", this was a strange way to start the interview and made me wonder why I had spent so much time talking to the rest of the team if their opinions aren't a factor.
