Got a call from recruiter. After my profile was selected, I was given a coding test to complete which I did. I cleared the coding round. Few days later got call from HR and was informed that I have cleared coding round and they would like to schedule a skype interview. Asked 3 time slots which I provided and then he asked me of my expectation in terms of compensation. When I told them my expectation he paused for atleast 10 seconds and then told me will get back to me. Never received any communication ever in this regard. This is completely unprofessional and they don't care about other's time. When they were not in a position to pay then they should have asked this question on the first call and not after getting people to complete one round and the ghost.
