However the role you applied for was a sales and marketing role; we absolutely work with big box retailers to bring small brands awareness, exclusivity and revenue. You chose to apply to our company, we did not personally recruit you nor were you sought-after so saying that we're "desperate for employees" when you actively applied doesn't really seem fair. There are higher turnover rates for most sales roles and we do not hide that fact.
