An old coworker reached out about a potential role that I agreed I was a good fit for. Unfortunately after my final interview they did not respond and at this point it has been over 2 weeks. I sent thank you's to every person I interacted with and even asked for an update after a week, fearing I had maybe forgotten something. Still nothing, including from the person who requested I apply. If I was a valued candidate at any point, that certainly is not the impression I have now. I usually have a good grasp on a conversation and from the warm and candid conversations I had I certainly expected some form of communication, even if it was a "thanks but no thanks."
