      Entretien

Disorganized would be the first word that comes to mind. The interview process started with a quick phone interview describing the position and the type of person they were looking for. No problem there. The next step was scheduling an in-person interview. This was where the issues began. The person that was scheduling my in-person interview first told me they would call me in a couple of days to schedule the interview. Almost a week went by and nothing. I emailed him and he said "oh sorry, yes I have been very busy". OK, strange, but decided to let that pass. After that we had a series of calls/emails where he would request that I come in that same day for an interview, which is extremely unprofessional and unconventional. I explained that I was not able to come in for an interview with a two hour lead, but would be more than happy to schedule and interview for the next day, etc...I had to do this multiple times. The day that I actually came in for my interview was beyond strange. First the guy who scheduled the interview and who was the first person I was to meet left 10 minutes before my interview was scheduled to begin. I was actually waiting out front to kill a little time since I arrived early and he walked right past me (I recognized his voice). When the receptionist finally managed to track him down and sent me to the building down the street he looked at me as though he had no idea why I was there...sigh. Next I was made to sit in the lobby for 30 minutes while they tracked down the man who runs the company. The interview with him was normal. After interviewing with him I met several other employees and everything seemed normal. One thing to note was that their offices were gross. Very dirty, very unprofessional and the receptionist desk was actually a display cabinet with some weird Ikea doors attached to the front of it...very strange. Everything looked like they slapped together the office from curbside furniture. I left the interview with mixed feelings, seemed like an interesting place, but very disorganized and a nasty environment. I was then contacted by the owner several days later, even though he told me he would contact me that night. When he did finally contact me he started talking about several other things they wanted to add to the job, which I found odd too (the job description changed multiple times through the interview process).
