I applied for a role in Cambridge at the end of November and was contacted by HR one week later. After a couple of calls, they set up a seminar and multiple interviews with selected people. They did not do 1-on-1 but grouped interviewers in pairs, which was nice - I did not have to answer some very frequent questions multiple times. Everyone was friendly and professional, and the interviews were interesting. All meetings were by Zoom due to COVID. Less than one week after the seminar I was contacted with an offer. HRs were mindful about other offers I had and speeded the interviews to accommodate for them and for approaching holidays (it was the time before Christmas).
