Over the phone, the interview went relatively well, with the normal questions you get in an interview, until we hit a wall. The interviewer asked me what were my plans for the next 10 years, and I answered honestly that I had no clear idea since my partner is a researcher and academia is unpredictable sometimes. I sensed some disliking of not knowing if I would still be in the same company in 10 years (which is ridiculous) and I got rejected, most probably because of that.
