The initial interview is to determine weather you fit the qualifications and if you are able to successfully perform the duties of the position. The interview is in person and with an HR Manager. In my case, it was a young white male who appeared to be college aged.
Although I had all of the requested skills and experience, I never heard back. I still cannot fathom why they wouldn't have hired me. Perhaps because I am hispanic?
