One of the worst and lengthiest - stay away. First interview was with the recruiter, who asked generic questions about myself, went over my resume, etc. I was moved to the next process of speaking with the team lead, whom I thought was great and provided positive feedback to the recruiter that there was much to like about my background and skill set. I met with 3 other team members via zoom and all provided positive feedback to me while on the calls with them, that I definitely possessed my skills for the role and clearly did my research on the company. Not once did I get told I didn’t possess a skill or requirement needed for the role. After meeting with all, I had a final zoom call with the recruiter that I was the first to finish the entire interview process and would like to interview other candidates in the pipeline, so I would hear back soon. After a week I sent a follow up email asking for an update, and was told I’d be called that day. I was told they decided to not move forward with my candidacy because apparently they want someone that would be comfortable and experienced with external customer communication and that they are looking to transition this role more into a senior level instead.
Clearly they failed to read my resume or listen to me while on the calls when I specifically went over my heavy communications with customers. I was also told by the recruiter at the start of the process that she was afraid my years of experience might be too much as this was an ENTRY LEVEL. I mean come on…..why put someone that’s in the need of a job through all this trouble and time to meet with soo many people to then switch the role and tell me I didn’t possess a skill that I clearly have had for years now.
Stay away and don’t bother applying! Waste of my time.

I only had a phone screening with the recruiter which I expected to be similar to most to other phone screenings (e.g. high level review of your background, see if you are a good fit to talk to hiring manager), but instead it was pretty in depth and felt more like a first round interview. Based on the knowledge of who I was speaking with (a recruiter) I was not that prepared.

I was sourced by a recruiter from Billtrust based on my LinkedIn profile and resume for a project management roll. She was extremely helpful and communicative and put me through to a 30 minute phone interview with a Talent Acquisition Partner. The partner was friendly, asked fairly basic questions about my background. She asked for an updated copy of my resume and said that she would be following up with next steps. After sending my resume along and a separate follow up email reiterating my interest, I was ghosted. No phone call, no copy and paste "thanks but no thanks". With the current state of job seekers, layoffs, etc. this was in extremely poor form. Very disappointing as I was more than qualified and excited about the possibility. Billtrust - please let people know if they're not being moved forward. It's literally the least you could do.
