1 phone interview, followed by 2 onsite interviews. The line of questioning was driven by a list of googled questions on a laptop, and while answering them, they typed out my answers while I was speaking (very distracting and offputting), as I spoke to their foreheads, facing their keyboards. When it was my turn, their answers were calculated and guarded, leading me to believe they were still testing me rather than trying to have a conversation. In scoping out the staff, on both visits they remained quiet with headphones on, doing their work, but I saw zero interactions. I derived nothing of the culture other than what they told me and felt the overall vibe was stringent and offputting. When I asked what their 30, 60, 90 plan was for the role, they pivoted it to me to answer - did they not have a plan?
