I applied at the end of September and had my first interview with the recruiter in November. Two weeks later, I was invited to an interview with HR, followed by an in-office presentation and case study. One week later, I received a rejection email with a generic reason. Overall, this was quite a long and drawn-out hiring process for a start-up that describes itself as fast-paced. I also noticed that the job advertisement remained open throughout, suggesting that the company may be struggling to find the ideal candidate or may not have fully defined the profile they are looking for. Based on my experience, I would recommend that the company streamline its recruitment process, clarify its candidate criteria, and ensure that applicants’ time is respected.
