Two months process, 5 interviews (1st. Screening, 2nd coding, 3rd coding again, 4th ML science , 5th System Design) After wasting two months of time, the reason given to me for not going ahead was that oh we realized that this job is for our internal salary band x and your experience fits into next salary band x+1 so we dont think you would be a good fit as it is a junior role for your experience. What a joke, should it take 5 interviews to determine that? Looked like nobody bothered to go through the resume even once before each interview. The interviewers gave conflicting information about how many interviews there would be and what the next step would be. There was never any clear info about e.g. what the coding interview would test as in would it be a generic leetcode type DSA interview or whether it would be related to Machine Learning. I was wrongly guided too initially that one of them would be ML related. None was . Even after 5 interviews, there was no feedback for another 10 days whether they want to move forward or not and just kept the candiate in the limbo. The second coding was taken saying that the person who took the first coding interview is going to leave our team soon so we want to take same type coding interviewa again. How lame! Why you aksed the person to take the first interview if he was leaving the team soon? All the interviews were easy. In second coding interview, the interviewere showed up 5 minutes late and wasted time in a lot of irrelevant discussion. But in the end I required just a couple of more minutes to finish the task, but he didnt allow them. I had realized one mistake of taking sum at one place instead of average as I thought the question had asked about sum so how long would it take me to correct that? Just a couple of minutes and I checked later it was giving exactly same answer as desired when I took the average. The interviewer also gave remark that I was on right track and if had some more time, I would have completed the task. But later he gave a negative feedback to HR about it. Sheer wastage of time. Never bother to apply for this company not to talk about working there.
