      Entretien

      I first applied for a Producer position back in October of 2022. I had a recruiter reach out to schedule an interview for a Friday morning. The morning of the recruiter asked to reschedule our phone call since the "system was down". I had seen them posting about their annual anniversary party the day before, which was a bit suspicious that they would not know that the interview couldn't be conducted until 11:55, 5 minutes before out 12pm interview. I asked to reschedule the interview for the Monday, but the recruiter said the following Friday would be better for him. Friday morning he reached out to let me know that they were no longer hiring for the position until January, and that he would reach out then to reschedule. Less than a month later the position was posted again, I emailed the recruiter twice to schedule our call but I was ghosted by the recruiter. I submitted my application again but was told I was not moving forward. Frustrated, I applied again for an opening for a producer that came up a month later, and was once again told I would not be moving forward. I emailed my original contact once again to no avail. I then applied for a Live Ops opening that came up recently, as this was more in line with my skillset and work experience. 5 minutes before the interview the recruiter let me know something had come up and he wouldn't be able to have our call. He didn't ask to reschedule. Shortly after another recruiter reached out and said he could take my call. We had a great call, there was a lot of alignment between my experience and skills and the position. The recruiter said I would be a great fit and that I would be recommended to move forward. I was then rejected for not having enough experience. Normally this is a fair rejection, but the reasoning was because I had done too many other things in my work history. While I respect their decision to not move forward, coupled with our previous interactions it just seemed disrespectful.
