I scheduled a phone screen via a calendar link received via e-mail. Within hours of scheduling, I received a denial e-mail thanking me for interviewing but telling me I was not selected, even though I had not even completed the phone screen. I reached out via e-mail for clarification to see if I should attend the phone screen and I was told that the email was an error and they still wanted to speak with me. I ended up completing the phone screen that day instead of when it was initially scheduled. I was told I would be sent an invite for a regular interview for the following week. I also confirmed with the recruiter on the phone and via email that the original phone screen meeting invite would be cancelled. Fast forward a few days and I continued to receive e-mail reminders for the original phone screen that was never cancelled. I reached out to the recruiter it was as scheduled with, as it was a different recruiter than I had been communicating with. I let her know the situation and that I was told it would be cancelled and I didn’t want her waiting on me to join. She responded and thanked me for reaching out. After the scheduled time for the original phone screen passed, I received a phone call inquiring why I had missed my second round interview, even though I received no communication that the original phone screen time would be switched to be the second round interview. The recruiter brushed it off as a miscommunication and we rescheduled. As soon as I joined the interview I was made to feel like it was my fault I missed the interview the first time it was scheduled, even though that occurred due to poor communication on their end. After this interview I was moved to a third interview with the COO. I was told by him that I would definitely hear back by the end of the week. I never heard anything back and gave some grace as it was during the holiday season. The end of the following week I finally reached out to the recruiter for an update. I never received a response and was completely ghosted. The whole process was extremely disorganized and communication was extremely poor. It felt very unprofessional to be put through 3 interviews to be completely ghosted.
