I had 3 different interviews. One with a department supervisor, one with the store manager, and one with the HR department. Overall, the interview process went smoothly. Easy and standard questions for an interview. However, all managers involved consistently bashed other candidates for lack of experience, availability, or anything else they could. Left a poor taste in my mouth while going through the process. I was then contacted a few days later with a job offer. The offer was low, and I countered at higher, as I have a degree, 5+ years of experience, and had a lot to offer in terms of leadership. The counter offer was rejected and instead of countering my counter, they decided to not move forward in the process. I can tell asking this company for more money is very frowned upon, and each time I interviewed, there was always complaints of other interviewees.
