I received a request for an initial interview within two weeks of applying. The first interview was over Zoom with one of the Managing Partners. It lasted about an hour, covering my overall skills and experience, and at the end, we scheduled a second F2F interview. The second interview was at their Office in Rochester (pretty cool digs, honestly), and included an additional managing partner with focus more on the skills and experience pertaining to the job itself. Two days after the F2F interview, they requested a third and final interview over Zoom with three of the digital marketing team members. The third interview was much more exhaustive, focusing on hypothetical situations with clients and relevant experiences. They also stated that they’d have a final decision by the end of that day. Upon completing the final interview, I didn’t receive a response for three full days, then I was told they went with the other candidate. Disappointed I didn’t get the job, especially considering the cool people and environment at Basso, but I’m grateful to have been a finalist for the position.
