The proposed structure of the interview process made a lot of sense but in reality did not pan out, each panelist had a topic of enquiry but this varied. The quality of the panel really varied throughout the process, one of the HRD's from recruitment gave the impression that they did not feel that I could do the job as well as they could :)

Contacted on the basis of recommendation by another Barclays director who I ghad worked with before in another blue chip. Invited to an exploratory discussion and then followed up with in depth interviews with 6 of the associated leadership team. Then attended an occupational psychologist half day session, psychometrics and final interview with Group HRD
