J'ai postulé via un établissement d'enseignement supérieur ou universitaire. Le processus a pris 2 jours. J'ai passé un entretien chez Barclays (Londres, Angleterre) en nov. 2011
Entretien
Compared to other banks I have interviewed, Barclays analysts and associates who attended my school's campus recruiting event were not that sharp. The phone interview process was pretty typical and standard. The first round F2F interview included more technical questions and brainteasers. Luckily, I had prepared based on information shared on How to Break into Wall Street and Wall Street Oasis, so it was not hard after all.
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
If a new country was founded, obviously there were no historical records on this country's equity or debt market, no international trade before, no FDI etc. How would you evaluate the credit risk of this country?
The interview process was very hard and very difficult, I did not get the offer for the investment banking analyst. Wish anyone the best if they are doing it. Good Luck
J'ai postulé via la recommandation d'un employé. J'ai passé un entretien chez Barclays (San Francisco, CA)
Entretien
Multiple back to back interviews, each with different more senior members of the team. Ssome were behaviorals with dif ppl, some were fully technical doing paper LBOs, and some brainteasers.
J'ai passé un entretien chez Barclays (New York, NY)
Entretien
Two parts—puzzle solving and company fit. The puzzle-solving part was fine. The company fit part was odd and long. Basically, just a bunch of statements about company culture/teamwork, ranking them, then ranking them again when the question was asked in a different way.

Question 1
They asked a math problem about probability. Very simple. The questions became progressively harder.
