They invite you for an “interview”. The only question they ask you is your name, because this is a group meeting that is really a disingenuous sales pitch for the position. It gives strong MLM vibes. They try very, VERY hard not to provide this information but this is actually a 1099 position. Also, there is no base salary. They don’t even provide a laptop or any other equipment. Despite this, they actually require you to come into their office several days a week! It’s laughable. At the end of this “interview” they have you fill out a paper that asks you for names of people who they can try to recruit. They ask if you’re interested in learning more about the position and they say they’ll conduct a second interview with every person who says yes. I said no and they’re still trying to “follow up” more than two months later.
