The interview processing was done through some agency. I was constantly contacted by 3 different HRs for the same thing. I had to repeat whatever I told others every time. There was no co-ordination within their HR team.
For the technical, I was having a one-on-one round. The interviewer was sitting half-mindedly, going out of the room many times while taking the interview, leaving the candidate alone for a while, getting busy on calls during the interview. Based on the questions I was asked, I doubt she knew much about the job role. I was brought in for a UI/UX designer's role. But I was given an assignment for a developer's role. The interviewer wasn't aware of many of the should-known latest trends. The interviewer was more interested in finding faults in my personal choices of what machine I use for doing the job, rather than focusing on the previous works done or the potential.
Even if I had got the job in Bankbazaar, I would have rethought a million times of taking this job. I prefer NOT to work in such an unorganized company and dwell into the constant headaches of working in some place, where a manager/team lead doesn't know what they are actually working on.
And the best part of all of this is, they asked me to find what is wrong with their website. I gave my feedback on how to make it better, with examples. The interviewer was showing that she wasn't happy with what I said and now after a couple of weeks, the company has changed their website's design exactly as I said. I am surprised.
