The recruiter I had a phone screen with did not seem familiar with the job I had applied for. She spoke over me multiple times while I answered questions she asked and didn’t seem to understand my background. She didn’t seem like she reviewed my resume and did not understand that I have worked at a few places over the past several years, leaving to take higher positions or the one time I left because I got laid off due to restructuring. She didn’t seem to understand what that meant. The recruiter also was condescending and didn’t seem to know how to speak to a candidate. It was a disappointing experience.
