3 initial conversations with the corporate team in the Midwest.
I found them to be incredibly professional, kind, and savvy!
Then one last interview with 2 local managing principals.
These gentlemen were clueless about how their corporate private equity mandate works and spoke to each other as if I wasn't even there, They made many statements in lieu of asking me direct questions and were aloof and condescending. Additionally, one of the more disquieting aspects of this interview was their reference to a former or current employee who held a FINRA Series 24 license and not a FINRA Series 79 one intimating some kind of preference...
This is something corporate management should address to attract and keep talent.
