Entretien
I started the process through their online application and was invited for a first round interview at the NY office (I was in school in NY). First round interview involved two separate interviews, first was a mix of personality and behavioral questions followed by a case question, second was two case questions (one pure market sizing). I was called back for a second round interview which pretty much involved the same process; the cases were a little more involved and one involved analyzing graphical information.

Question 1
Ikea is trying to determine if they should continue selling $1 hot dogs in their cafeterias. Determine the profitability of this practice; if it is found to be unprofitable, provide some reasons that Ikea might want to consider continuing the practice regardless.
Three rounds of interviews, generally 2 rounds in person or remote with live consultants. Each round involves a 2-3 case interviews each, which generally also include a set of behavioural questions.

Drei Interviewrunden, je ein Interviewer: zwei englischsprachige Case Studies (Interviewer-geführt, strukturiert) sowie Personal Fit mit situativen Fragen ohne CV-Bezug - keine Angaben zu Praktika oder Uni gefragt. Stattdessen Reaktionsfragen à la „Wie würdest du in Situation XYZ reagieren?". Mit solider Vorbereitung nichts Unerwartetes. Alle Interviewer sehr freundlich und aufgeschlossen — angenehme, entspannte Atmosphäre throughout.
