I did a screener and the HR rep was very pleasant. Then, before meeting anyone else, they asked me to complete a work exercise where I had to create an entire campaign based on 2 budgets, complete with execution plan. I turned that in and heard nothing. I reached out and was put off for a couple of weeks because the hiring manager hadn't gotten to it yet. I made one final query and a few minutes later I got the answer that they were passing on me. It's good to know, at least, what kind of organization I was dealing with before I signed on.
