Met BNSF at a job fair. Applied on line and was soon contacted by HR. After a brief phone screen, I was selected for an onsite interview. Took a math / personality test in the morning with several other candidates. All of us passed and were invited back in the afternoon for panel interviews. Submitted to a drug test before I left and was called a few days later with an offer. After the offer, background check was completed and I started within two weeks.

Long and very slow process. Bad communication by them. There is no need for the delay and lack of information. Too many steps in a process. Just like this step.

Series of questions, standard affair. Around six to eight questions total, ranging from experience questions to safety questions. Met in person with a panel of three people. Overall the interview took around 30 minutes

Lots of interviews, met a lot of people, structured interview questions. I had to do some pre-hire assessments but I felt like using those they were making an educated decision on whether or not I was a job fit.
