I had a interview set up for me by a recruiting agency. I was thankful they worked this around my current work schedule.
Once I was speaking with a department manager, she spoke so fast and sounded incredibly impatient as if this entire process was a bother. The questions were good and straight forward, but I had to ask a number of times for clarity as she spoke so fast.
What interviewers have to remember is you aren't just interviewing us, we are interviewing you too. Are you someone I want to work for? Based on this conversation, this isn't someone I want to work for.
According to the recruiter during a follow up, the manager said I don't "walk the walk", and I have no idea what means except to clearly establish this is neither a good manager or someone to work for. You do, in my opinion, manage staff by trying to intimidate.
