Having seen BD’s marketing excellence in the US, I know what good looks like — but this regional office didn’t reflect that. The role was heavily downplayed, with repeated warnings about “starting from the bottom” and doing junior operational work regardless of experience. It felt more like they were trying to scare me off than attract senior talent, which was disappointing and off-putting.

The first interview is the typical HR call, and for the second, the hiring manager interviewed me. The interview went well, and they asked the typical interview question. The time to apply to HR interview is very long. It took them about a month to reach out to me.

First was a call from recruiter, then call with hiring manager, then went through a few more rounds with other people in team. There was a lot waiting time between each round.
