Call with hiring manager (who seemed like a nice guy) then put through to panel, where their internal recruiter sent through a meeting invite for a sequential 2 hour panel interview, with four senior members of the team. I proceeded prep extensively for the panel, bought and read the CEOs book, researched interviewers extensively, learned of past deals in my region and much, much more. Around 40 mins before my interview time it was cancelled, no explanation from Axon, no response to LinkedIn messages sent to hiring manager - a complete waste of my time and energy. During a week where I had 4 interviews booked with other companies, I really wish I didn’t take Axon the most seriously. I get that you don’t owe people anything in an interview process, but treating others how you’d want to be treated yourself is one of the basics. Pop on camera and just explain or at the very least send an email. This may be an isolated experience, maybe it’s common practice. Either way this is my interview experience with Axon.

This was a terrible interview process that lacked transparency and professionalism. One interviewer was 15 minutes late for my interview. The timeline kept getting pushed back. I was asked very few questions that allowed me to showcase my abilities. Communication was lacking the entire way. It was clear they had a candidate lined up from the beginning and were "checking the box" in completing my interviews.
