Entretien
Following my application Axon's HR contact conducted a professional screening call and was forthcoming about multiple opportunities within the organization that she felt I was qualified for. She felt I would be an excellent fit for the team and promptly scheduled followup calls with two sales Directors for the following week. Both followup calls were conducted the next week and this is where the true colors or arrogance of this organization revealed itself.
In both cases the sales leaders clearly didn't have any interest in talking to me let alone hire me. They spent the call telling me how my 20 years of industry experience wasn't of any value.
One Director was ten minutes late to the call and while he apologized he said he only had 20 min to talk due to the late arrive. And he proceeded to eat during the video call which was completely unprofessional. His questions were canned and he spent no time getting to know me or anything about my work history and experience. He had been with the company weeks and had come in from outside the industry with no knowledge about government procurement, yet he gave me no credit for my years of experience.
The second Director was just as arrogant and ghosted me following the call. She again was late to the call and instead of a Zoom call she called on her cell while traveled to an airport.
She had been with the company for 3 years again coming from outside the industry but spent the better part of the call telling me that my years of experience selling into large organizations wasn't a value. And that I had never sold complex products or in a complex organization. When I asked her how she adapted to her transition three years ago I thought she hung up on me.
What a bunch of clowns
