The interview process was part of an oncampus drive and overall, it was smooth and well-structured.
First, we had an online test with basic QA questions. After clearing that, I had two technical rounds on the same day one with an SDE and the other with the QA lead. They asked about computer networks, APIs, cloud basics, Python coding, testing types, tools, and OOPs concepts. Since the role involved automation testing using Selenium and PyTest, Python knowledge was important.
After that, there was a short round with the Engineering Director he asked about testing concepts, Python basics (like decorators), CI/CD, and Postman. The final round was an HR interview with general questions.
Overall, a good experience. Just make sure you're clear on QA fundamentals, Python, and automation basics.
