J'ai postulé en ligne. Le processus a pris 2 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Avanade (Seattle, WA) en janv. 2019
Entretien
The interview process started with a phone screener, which covered my experience, going over specific projects, and my knowledge of the software. The next step was a group interview event, Avanade had me and 15 other interview candidates (some going for different positions) participate in a design thinking challenge. This
was less intimidating then it sounds! During the event we were interviewed one on one as well. Which was more of a casual conversation, they really just want to know what kind of person you are!
Questions d'entretien [1]
Question 1
What started your design journey and what do you know about Avanade?
J'ai postulé via une autre source. Le processus a pris 5 semaines. J'ai passé un entretien chez Avanade (Toronto, ON) en mars 2022
Entretien
1. hr = very professional
2. 2 designers asking to share my work
3. 2 designers asking to share my work
4. Yes! Again! Another 2 designers asking to share my work!
A waste of my time. No substancial feedback about why I didn't have an offer... well... I feel good that I didn't join them. It seems very disorganized... why 3 presentations? The same one... why they do not have all 6 designers interviewing at once.
A waste of my time... and they seem not to have much work.

Question 1
Can you go through of a couple of projects... and share your screen?
It was a phone interview, to simply introduce myself, work experiences and talk about my background. They prefer a candidate who has more commercial experience so I didn't pass the phone interview, but the recruiter was very nice.

Screening process, then I got a meeting invite for two rounds of interviews after I accepted the invites they got cancelled. I e-mail my recruiter after a not hearing from them in a week and a half that my interviews were cancelled with no explanation.
Thats when I received this e-mail:
"Good day!
Appreciate all your cooperation and efforts on the interview and screening processes at Avanade.
Just wanted to let you know that for the moment the team is moving forward and not pursuing with your application further. However, we will definitely keep you posted on future opportunities."
Not only was it disrespectful because I inform them about my interview was cancelled but it was a waste of my time and I can tell the reply was a copy and paste. I'm trying to get a job to earn a living so I shouldn't be treated as an after thought when it's your job to communicate.
