Before even speaking with the TA manager I was asked to do a design assignment. Found it a bit strange to do that so early in the application process but I went with it. Received the instruction per email and had 48 h to complete the assignment and hand it in by email. They wanted a finished prototype and a document outlining my thought processes. So I spent two full days on completing the assignment but never heard back from them. No feedback, no thank you, not even a generic rejection email. Considering my effort and time put into the assignment, this was very disappointing. I understand if they weren’t happy with my assignment but I would at least expect to receive feedback.
